Brothers Complete has been around since 2006 and they are located in Florida, USA. I first learned about them when I was researching dog food back when Jada was a puppy and found out that they have some of the best kibble around. So what makes them so unique? Let’s take a look at their 4 dog food formulas…

Chicken Meal & Egg Formula

Brothers Complete Chicken Meal & Egg Formula Dog Food Feeding Guide

The first formula we have is their Chicken Meal and Egg. The ingredients are pretty good with over 90% animal protein, grain and potato free, and no artificial colors or flavors. What is interesting is that this food is so concentrated that you feed less kibble than you usually would with other brands. For example, Jada and Bailey on average get a cup a day on other dry food.

Jake is a chicken nut (seriously. Whenever someone has chicken he comes out of the shadows and stares at you), so I let him try the chicken formula. He seemed to really like it and followed me around after I was done taking photos of him to see if he could get some more, haha!

Venison Meal & Egg Formula

Our next formula is Venison Meal and Egg Advanced Allergy Care. What makes this dry dog food allergy friendly is that it has a novel protein and just like all the other variations it is grain free. There is also chicken and turkey proteins in this food though, so look out for that if your dog has an allergy to either. What’s great about these proteins is that they are all human grade as well! Wow!

Bailey got to try out the venison and she scarfed it down like an animal!

Lamb Meal & Egg Formula

Brothers Complete Lamb Meal and Egg Formula is next! This is another formula labeled with Advanced Allergy Care. All 4 formulas include selective prebiotics and encapsulated probiotics. Selective prebiotics help feed only the good beneficial gut bacteria, a.k.a. probiotics. These encapsulated Probiotics are different because they only activate once they get into the colon. This makes sure they aren't dead before your dog can benefit from them.

"Don't let my messed up haircut fool you, I want that food very badly"

Dibble looked forward to trying out some GMO-free lamb meal and egg. So tasty!

The last bag of dog food we have is the Turkey Meal and Egg formula. Did you know that this bag is different that the rest? This is the same type of 3 ply foil bag used for expensive coffee beans to keep out moisture, bugs, light, etc. This helps preserve the freshness of the small batches of dog food Brothers Complete make and keep in their air conditioned storage facility before it gets in your hands and eventually in your dog's belly.

"You gonna share that, Auntie Dot?"
Dottie really liked this variation and Bailey watched in anticipation for a dropped morsel.

  12. yes, but all 3 gals are different. the oldest was picky eater when she was a baby, now she will eat most anything, although some treats like lamb's ears which she used to love wont eat now. the middle child will eat anything and everything. even if it is not a favorite thing, she will eat it. the baby, now 5, was a picky eater and still is. one day she will like her food and the next day she wont touch it. however, if i give it to her as a treat, she will eat it. but in her bowl, no! somedays i have to try several different foods for her to eat it or i will just give up and let her go hungry. if it is something like sardines she will eat it right away. however, if it is raw food, sometimes she will eat it or pick around it and not eat it. but if i give it to her as a treat, she will eat it. she is just very spoiled. she is a very slow eater anyway, she can be the first one to be feed and still eating when the other 2 gals have finished. also if something is going on outside and her sister is barking, she wont eat til i let her out of her crate to see what is going on.
