As you can tell by now, we really love Redbarn's natural treats! Jada has a lot of food intolerances so we are always looking at limited ingredient treats and chews. We did a review of their Bully Nuggets a while back, which is beef lung covered in beef pizzle sauce (yummy yummy). But what if you need a bigger treat, or you want to just go big or go home? I introduce to you, Redbarn Choppers!
These things are massive! I call them doggie steaks, lol. They come in varying sizes but are generally pretty large.
When it comes to ingredients, this is the simplest you can get! Love, love, love that these treats are just baked beef lung made in the U.S.A.! Because it is beef lung, this treat is high in protein and low in fat.
So of course we had to do this, Jada managed to balance 5 of these bad boys on her head! It was very hard to get this picture because Jada was so excited and wanted to eat the Choppers so badly!
It was a beautiful day, so I brought out the bag of treats to all 5 of our household's dogs to see what they think about them. As you can see you get a good amount of beef lung in one bag!
Let me introduce one of our product testers named Jake! He is a rescued husky chow mix from Cartersville, GA who belongs to my stepmom. We believe he is over 10 years now and really starting to show it as he as some bad arthritis in his back legs. When it comes to treats he is really picky, like even pickier than Bailey at times!
As you can see from Jake's face, he was super interested in these Choppers. He only makes this face when he smells something super good!
Jake took a big ol' bite and demanded more, so these are definitely Jake approved.
These treats are big enough for 70 lbs dogs like Jake and can be broken into pieces (or used as a chew) for even 9 lbs dogs like Bailey! So if your pack varies in size, this would be a good choice.
Dibble is a treat hog, so I figured he would like these treats, but dang! Look at those eyes! I think he more than just like them :).
Jada of coursed loved them - anything meaty is fabulous in her book. Baked beef lung is a bit crunchy which helps with dental health to keep Jada's smile looking great!

I really like these treats considering our dogs are of differing sizes and I can accommodate accordingly! With the being only one ingredient, I don't have to worry about Jada's allergies and know that I am giving her something good for her too!
